Last year, Nic Hessler released Soft Connections, his first work not under the creative moniker “Catwalk” that he had been donning for an entire decade of music creation. The album came after a period of time when he was not active in the music industry, as he struggled quite heavily with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and was experiencing symptoms that rendered him unable to perform. It is said that his new sound–and the way with which he approaches music–was directly affected by the disease.
Nic Hessler has just announced five live performances up and down the west coast with Ducktails in July. He will be performing some of his new work with–hopefully–a couple of Catwalk indie throwbacks. Either way, this won’t be a tour to miss. Check out the dates below, and
