Portland's own Parenthetical Girls have always contained a talent for stand-out eclecticism. Whether an orchestral-pop ballad or minimal electronica, Zac Pennington's bold lyricism consistently shines through as an elegant force to be reckoned with.
Limited to only 500 copies, the third EP of their five EP Privilege series is set to release March 22 on the band's own Slender Means Society. As with the first two in the series, each copy will be numbered with the blood of a band member, this time Jherek Bischoof (their producer/arranger). The new single, “The Pornographer,” is a bluesy, foot-stomping anthem about love, sex, and every complication in between.
