As was announced on Rolling Stone this morning, Nirvana, Kiss, The Replacements, Yes, and more have been added to the longlist of nominees for next year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. This is Nirvana's first year for eligbility, as the bands need have to released their first single over 25 years ago, Nirvana's being a cover of Shocking Blue's “Love Buzz”. In a new process that began last year, fans are now allowed to vote for who gets inducted. The only stipulation is that you actually have to go back to Rolling Stone to vote, so if that's your kind of thing, be our guest. Here is the longlist of potential inductees. Personally, I'm gunning for The Zombies. I get the feeling that this will be their year.
