Brooklyn's best dreampop band The Pains of Being Pure at Heart will be releasing their forthcoming third LP, Days of Abandon, on April 22 through Yebo Music. If springtime isn't the perfect time for this record to come out, we hardly know when would be better. The first track, “Art Smock”, comes layered in shiny, gauzy dream-like soundscapes and frontman Kip Berman's signature lightly lilting vocals, somewhere in between Elliott Smith and Robert Smith's beautiful ease.
