The first announcement for Treefort Music Festival 2016 rolled out some big guns in Charles Bradley, Thee Oh Sees, Aesop Rock, and Chelsea Wolfe. The sort of life-altering performers that make festivals worth the endurance. The second wave hit just as strong yesterday with the additions of Pictureplane, Thundercat, La Luz, Diarrhea Planet, and the ever-welcome in Boise, Built To Spill.
Slated for March 23-27, Treefort is an annual music and arts festival featuring over 400 bands plus film, art, comedy, yoga and more across multiple venues in downtown Boise. Among the other second wavers, look forward to sets from Nosaj Thing, Christopher Willits, Lushlife, Acid Mothers Temple, SALES, Geographer, AU, J.Phlip, and Y La Bamba.
For locals looking to start early, Treefort is throwing a launch party on February 6 featuring a headlining performance by The Thermals at the El Korah Shrine.
