TV On The Radio have decided to break the static after the unfortunate death of bassist Gerard Smith this past April. The Brooklyn based band has announced an additional fifteen shows to be tacked on to their current lineup of U.S. tour dates. The new dates finish up their summer tour with a much anticipated show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The group will also be playing the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago as well as a hometown show at Williamsburg Waterfront, in which they will be accompanied by Canadian rock group Broken Social Scene.
