Garage rock trio White Denim have premiered the video for their gorgeous single “Street Joy” over at pitchfork; the theme is “WHAT IF WHITE DENIM PLAYED AT PROM?” and it features a lot of questionable haircuts/facial hair decisions/photo poses/etc. However, the retro film effects indicate a bygone time when none of this was ironic. Everyone had so much fun back then! (Except for the girl in the head wrap who is crying alone outside).
If you're looking to get your own slow jam on to the psychedelic, bluesy stylings of White Denim, you're in luck because they're going on tour! You will probably be wearing the same outfit as someone in this video when you go to see them.
