In a political protest against the inhuman trials that hunger striking prisoners at Guantánamo Bay are put through, Yasiin Bey (previously known as Mos Def) took part in a facsimile of the prison's procedure by getting force-fed himself. In conjunction with British news org The Guardian and civil rights nonprofit Reprieve, Bey sat through an incredibly painful process that is not unfamiliar to detainees at Guantánamo.
