Music and pizza. Is there a better combination? Welcome to Song and a Slice, a new series where musicians stop by and play a tune, then enjoy a slice of homemade pizza, crafted specifically to their taste (full disclosure: the pizzas will usually be created/named based on bad puns).
In this first installment, San Francisco-based singer/songwriter Andrew St. James stops by to perform his song “Golden State,” off his new record Light After Darkness. Then, Andrew—who started a series of parties in San Francisco’s Mission District called Fast Times.! that evolved into the promotion company Fast Times Presents—helps make a pizza called the Fast Thyme pizza (remember: puns). You can also hear some of Andrew’s fantastic new single, “Grounded.”
