French singer-songwriter Pomme hit San Francisco on June 18th, touring in support of her recently-released fourth record, Saisons. Playing solo, Pomme’s performance didn’t lack for variety, as she played the guitar, keyboard, omnichord, and–for a cover of Dolly Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors”–an autoharp. The singer (born Claire Pommet), claimed an attempt at the Parton cover in New York three days prior was “a disaster,” but she seemed to work it all out for the SF rendition, which, like the rest of the set, was utterly charming.
