For Cambridge, MA based Jocelyn & Chris Arndt, multi-tasking is second nature. The siblings recently released their sophomore full length, Go, which landed a #2 spot on the Relix Jambands Top 30 Album Chart. Despite all the work and time needed to create a full length, the siblings were still full time students at Harvard University. They’ve made their way through the festival circuit, spending time on stages at CMJ, SXSW, Sundance, and more. Somehow, the duo show no signs of exhaustion, or slowing down. And that’s just the premise behind their latest video, for “Footprints on the Moon.”
Explains Jocelyn: “Between touring, recording, and radio promo, our lives definitely get pretty crazy! We knew we wanted to make a video for “Footprints on the Moon,” but we just couldn’t find time to go all the way home to shoot one. So when we were down at SXSW doing our thing, we decided to grab a couple of GoPro cameras and try our hand at making a video guerrilla-style. From Tennessee and Texas to our recording studio in Upstate NY, and even our dorms at Harvard, here’s a quick look at life on the “Go”!
The video shows the pair on the go, accompanied by their GoPro, either on an airplane, on the streets, or onstage. It’s a sign of their perseverance and energetic attitudes– yes, they’re young, but the two don’t seem a bit jaded. They’re focused, yet humble, seeming to act consistently grateful for where they’ve come, always remembering where they’ve been. Between Jocelyn’s powerful vocals and Chris’ exceptional musicianship, it’s clear the two won’t be backing out of the spotlight anytime soon.
