Although Scott Hirsch has been collaborating most recently as half of the band Hiss Golden Messenger, his first solo project, Blue Rider Songs, is coming out August 19, 2016. The album trailer is a myriad of natural esthetics, images, and tunes that will make you want to add this music project to your collection.
With a sound slightly reminiscent of Crosby, Still, Nash & Young, Scott Hirsch has created a song in “The Sun Comes Up A Purple Diamond” that makes you unmistakably sway to the music. The track, which is from Hirsch’s debut solo album Blue Rider Songs, also serves as the first song on the backdrop to the album trailer, and plays like a well-paced journey that adds instruments and vocals as it wends its’ way from beginning to end.
