Things just keep getting smoother for Anthony Gonzalez's M83 project. His upcoming album Saturdays = Youth was made in the spirit of Cocteau Twins and Tears for Fears, which means it's lost most of the electronic/IDM stylings that began his career. Still plenty of reverb.
The album is out on Mute on April 15. Go to his MySpace page to listen to the first single, “Couleurs”, which will see an official release on February 26.
He's touring North America this summer for the first time since 2005, with a full band in tow.
