Morning Recordings are what would happen if Van Morrison's rhythm section was born in 1984 and grew up listening to Spiritualized and Air. It's one part schlocky elevator fare, two parts ear morphine and it cures hangovers better than codeine. “Sugar Waltz” is off of their upcoming LP The Welcome Kinetic, which claims an eclectic mix of all things whoozy: “underwater 'Bachrachian' pop”, Latin waltzes and “warped 70s funk.” It will be released by Loose Thread October 9.
