At Whartscape this year, epinephrine-spiking Baltimore punk trio Smarts played almost their entire set on top of a car. And it was good! What more could you need then that?

FREE: Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti is now playing simple retro-tropic pop as Little Joy. You probably already know this, and you probably also know that the Strokes have been somewhat lackluster lately. This isn't a huge improvement, but it is free at the Union Square Virgin Megastore. All Ages. 7pm. But getting there early seems advisable.
