I'm In You, “Heart Exploder”

While we firmly believe that the five-year young Brooklyn rock band I'm In You should have been in the running for the Village Voice's first annual worst band name in New York contest, their spicy post punk exercises compensate for an unsubtle moniker.

Their self-titled album, out August 2, includes this track “Hearts Exploder”, which pounds restlessly on a minor riff accompanied by a Morphine-era baritone sax before collapsing into a dreamy non-sequitor string interlude, which is likewise rudely cut off to make way for that relentless first riff that wont take dreamy string interludes as an answer.
