Peace Be Still is a group from Toronto, ON. Over the past few years, they’ve been on multiple tours and made lots of music. They’ve shared the stage with a bunch of bands such as Speedy Ortiz, Pity Sex, Beach Slang, Infinity Girl, Dads, Chumped, and Solids. They’ve just released a brand new track today, and it’s called “Part II: Jay Masquez.”
The track starts off right away, full force. The instrumentals come together and create a wall of sound, with the vocals as their leader. According to the band, this was written as a reaction to people talking shit, and how “it’s about getting to a certain point of happiness, asking if that happiness will root you where you are, and trying to not let anyone (including yourself) or anything get in the way of that.”
