Here's some quirky stuff from France. Get Back Guinozzi! have the worst band name since Nickleback and an album due out on Fat Cat in the fall. Their only listed show is in Paris… for December 7. Their tweaked-out pop music is sunny without the haze: ebullient and positive and fuzz-free. Fader wrote about them today, so I guess there's been some buzz we're blind to, but hey, this shit's fun to listen to, so don't put your shades down yet.
