A Björk exhibit is coming to MoMa NYC on March 8. As stated in a press release, the exhibit is set to “chronicle her career through sound, film, visuals, instruments, objects, costumes, and performance.” The upcoming retrospective will celebrate Björk’s many contributions to music, art, and fashion over the past twenty years. Also set to debut is a sound and video installation by the director Andrew Thomas Huang for “Black Lake”, a chilling single from Björk’s latest and eighth album, Vulnicura. The film, made last summer, uses Iceland’s physical terrain to explore motifs of death and rebirth present in much of Bjork’s body of work. Stream a preview for “Black Lake” below.
