Atlanta’s Deerhunter have announced a month-long tour of North America this Fall.
Bradford Cox, Lockett Pundt, Moses Archuleta and Josh McKay – who collectively released seventh studio album Fading Frontier last year – will play in seventeen US cities in October, including headline shows in San Francisco and New York. Deerhunter will be joined by Rhasaan Manning and Javier Morales, expanding the core quartet to a 6-piece live experience. Support will come from Aldous Harding and Jock Gang.

Fading Frontier was written and recorded in the band’s hometown of Atlanta, GA, with production duties shared by Deerhunter and Ben H. Allen, continuing a collaboration that began with 2010’s acclaimed Halcyon Digest. Fading Frontier also features contributions from Broadcast’s James Cargill and Tim Gane from Stereolab.
