Desert Daze announces daily lineup

Weekend & single day passes now on sale

Today, SoCal’s psychedelic-soaked music festival Desert Daze revealed the daily lineup for this year’s installment, which takes place on Oct. 10-13 at Lake Perris.

Philadelphia indie rocker Alex G and Los Angeles funk-jazz-psych conjurer Thundercat will headline Friday’s lineup, which features an undercard of acts like hyperpop-punk duo 100 gecs, Belarusian goth unit Molchat Doma, English IDM DJ-producer Floating Points, Washington post-hardcore titans Unwound, Canadian noise-punks Death From Above 1979, Massachusetts metalcore band Converge, and many more.

Meanwhile, the legendary garage rock icon and former The White Stripes frontman Jack White will anchor Saturday on the heels of his excellent comeback solo album No Name. Notable acts on Saturday also include prog-rock masters The Mars Volta, indie folk staples Fleet Foxes, experimental rap titan Danny Brown, neo shoegaze rising stars Wisp, L.A. garage-psych marauders Frankie and the Witch Fingers, festival organizer Phil Pirrone’s band jjuujjuu, among many others.

Bringing the festival to a close on Sunday night will be Pacific Northwest indie pop stars Cigarettes After Sex, following their two headlining dates at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The rest of Sunday’s lineup includes ’90s indie rock purveyor Liz Phair, thrash metal overlords Power Trip, NYC shoegazers DIIV, Philadelphia beatdown hardcore throttlers Jesus Piece, Chicago chamber pop up-and-comers Friko, and many, many more.

The Desert Daze weekend will also see a number of curated stages including Christopher Cichocki’s The Santuary, which will host acts like OAKK, Circular Dimensions, and more, while the campground’s Outer Space stage will feature matinee and late night live music programming in addition to morning yoga and soundbath sessions. And then there’s the Gold Diggers stage, which will feature a number of intimate performances from jazz experimentalist Makaya McCraven, skateboarding icon and musician Tommy Guerrero, experimental noise duo Wolf Eyes, and more.

In addition to the daily lineup announcement, the festival announces that single day passes will now be available starting at $99 per day, and you can explore all ticket options HERE.
