William Cashion of Future Islands and Bruce Willen of Double Dagger, both staples in the rampant Baltimore scene, are slated to release their first album as a duo on May 14 under the moniker Peals. The album, Walking Field, is eight tracks of sonorous, rich texture, which were all written using nothing but guitars and microphones. For a special preview of what the duo is working on, visit their site to listen to “Furniture,” a 16-track composition that can be played all together or separately, making for a round, orchestral interactive experience.
