Kicking off his new Comedy Central show, Hannibal Buress tapped acclaimed producer Flying Lotus to be its in-house DJ. FlyLo stayed behind the decks for the first-ever musical guests on Why? With Hannibal Buress: Buress’ close friend and former college RA, Open Mike Eagle, and Thundercat on bass. The trio performed Open Mike Eagle’s “Ziggy Starfish (Anti-Anxiety Raps)” (whose video had a Hannibal Buress cameo) from his latest record, A Special Episode Of. Right off the bat, this talented group has elevated Why? to the musical big leagues, so hopefully we can expect some more fantastic guests to come. Stream the performance below.
