Chaz Bundick of Toro y Moi is so good at evolving stylistically that, were he an infant in the times of Scandinavian folklore, he might have been accused of being a changeling and burned alive to drive the devil out. Having glided with supernatural ease from chillwave to disco with his sophomore album Undereath the Pine, Bundick is up to his old tricks with the Freaking Out EP, due out Sept 13 on Carpark, which will be “Toro Y Moi's most concentrated venture into pure dance floor hedonism.” Sick.
