The London-based band Veronica Falls recently signed with Slumberland in order to release its as-of-yet-nameless first LP, due out sometime in the fall. More details are forthcoming. In the meantime, the quartet has joined the ranks of musicians such as Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera, and Shania Twain by releasing a song titled “Come On Over.” A boisterous, darkly catchy taste of what's to come on their debut album, Veronica Falls' “Come On Over” is very different from its nominal peers, obviously, in belonging to the category of 'pop' in a bizarre, esoteric way — and in being really very good.
