Beach House and The Walkmen on the same ticket?! We'll be bold reporters and call this the first MUST-SEE tour of 2009, mostly because its happening in the first month.

We have already given you plenty of reasons to devote your ears to Beach House and The Walkmen this year. If each band releasing a potential best album of 2008 wasn't enough for you, then here's a lovely little video, live from an undisclosed beach. This delicate treat should help get your melancholy ass through another hump day.

Alas, I can only direct you to the nearest Beach House Myspace page to get lost in its latest single “Used To Be.” All is not lost though, the b-side, “Apple Orchard,” to the 7″ is also there, so you can preview the entire single before contemplating a holiday purchase. If you have a friend who loves to frequent frozen beaches in the cold winter months, then you've got your stocking stuffer covered, but get a big sock.

Hype machine overload apologies go out to anyone reading this who does not live in the string of great cities that make up the ports of the west coast. You will not be seeing a Walkmen and Beach House shared bill. Hopefully, with its success they will become great friends and add another leg to the tour.
