Synth pop stalwart, Dan Boeckner, tweeted that “Svety Summer Tour” with Operators hits the road today and that the tour may need a new name. Emphasis on may. The 29-date tour starts in the Pacific Northwest before syncing up with Future Islands next week in Brooklyn.
The band’s debut track, “True”, comes with Boeckner’s trademark acidic, squelchy synth sounds and driving beat.
Stream “True” and check tour dates below. Look for Operators’ first album EP1 due to release August 5.
