Pac Div, Don't Mention It Mixtape

Pacific Division follows up its Church League Champions with Don't Mention It, possibly hinting at a fed up attitude with still being the underdogs.

After signing to Universal Motown, the full length Grown Kid Syndrome was slated for a 2009 release, only to miss the deadline (change that group bio, homie). Pharrell of The Neptunes is rumored to be working with the budding group after calling their style innovative, but talks of that have gone quiet. Sounds like somebody is tired of being pestered as to where the album is at.

Don't Mention It is not produced by The Neptunes, but it's got a Nep-vibe mimicked by Swiff Descept with minor help from Dahi and Jack Sample Pros. The synths on Don't Mention It embody the range from ultra club sheik to gritty minimalist street hop the Neps harnessed in order to take over the rap industry from all angles. “Don't Forget The Swishers” lacks synths entirely, oddly enough making it a stand out track as the strongest offering. It's got that lazy Sunday vibe proper for bumping during a barbecue.
